Space Planning

The space planning process involves surveying stores to measure and record display capacity: linear and sq footage and fixture display type.
With this you can:

  • Optimise the space allocation for each product category by understanding how much merchandise space is available and how much product will fit on each fixture.
  • Optimise the layout of the store to maximise sales by considering the customer journey and the prominence of displays.
  • Experience fewer out-of-stocks and fewer overstocks by ensuring that the right product quantities are available at the right times.
  • Analyse store location, store performance and customer profile in order to optimize range offering in individual stores or groups of stores. This process is called store categorisation.
  • Support a range of planograms for stores according to store size and store categorisation.
  • Manage the display of products using planograms.
